New Developments
21April19
I haven't been posting much because there haven't been a lot of new developments. I feed them, and they scramble around for first rights and eventually everyone gets fed. Patch has to be fed around the corner and Sausage's gang follows even though they're happy to eat where ever I put down food.
It is warming up enough that we have to put the AC on at night. Because it is small and for the bedroom only, we have to close the door. Well, cats don't like closed doors and GG has been especially uncooperative. The first night, it was up down up down. He wanted in, he wanted out, he wanted water, he wanted food.
He's sort of settled into the door closed at night now. But today when David was taking a nap, he closed the door. GG came in and started meowing at the bedroom. I opened the door so it was slightly ajar. All he had to do was push the door with his paw and mosey in. No, GG sat there meowing until I opened the door wider on his behalf.
As contrast to Sausage who figured out that all you had to do was push down on the doorknob and the door would open. Last summer I caught her jumping up and trying to get that knob to go down. Ever since she's been fixed she's been mean and bitter. Rarely comes up anymore. The last time she came up, GG was going out and there was some yowling in the hall and Sausage left some poop on the floor. I guess you can literally scare the sh*t out of someone.
This afternoon I ran an errand and when I came back Patch and Mask came up for a little nosh. They haven't been up since the kittens. Patch, who loves me to pet her and even lets me pick her up now, ate and ran. Mask who is a big scaredy cat and won't let anyone touch her wanted to explore. She watched me in the kitchen and looked around in the living room. She may have stayed longer but someone came home and she bolted.

Cats really dislike closed door, but sometimes barry accidentally closed the doors on one of the cats for hours!
