The Vet Again
28May18
Yesterday, GG had to go the vet because he was barfing all the time. We don't have a car so we found a vet who makes house calls. In this case, she came over early and collected GG took him to her office, took some blood and gave him a check-up, and brought him back. About a thousand shekels, in US dollars I think that would be between $200-300.
So GG is dewormed, but the whole ordeal was stressful for me and him. By the end of the day I was exhausted and all I did was worry about my baby.
The thing is, GG had never been in a cage before and he went crazy. He's a big cat, 13 pounds according to the vet, and he almost clawed his way out of the cage. He was mean. And he meowed. Officially his name is Zombie, but I call him Little Loudmouth for a reason. He meows loud. He was in that cage and wouldn't stop.
Poor baby. Well, while GG was gone, I encouraged Fluffy and others to take advantage and come up and relax. Fluffy can't relax up here. But Fluffy, Patch, and Mask did come up for a little nosh.
The vet came back about noon. We heard GG meowing outside in her car, all the the way around the building, up the stairs, and inside our apartment. Poor GG, he didn't feel so good. He's mad at us now, mostly David. He comes in eats, gets watered and leaves. He lets me pet him, but doesn't cozy up to us in particular David. Poor kitty feels betrayed.

A lot of cats hate those carriers. We have to “stuff “ Sherman into the carrier while hissing, snarling, and a terrified growl. Chica , see the carrier and runs away not to be found for hours. Joey walks in the carrier as to say “ take me to your leader” Chica and Sherman always comes back from the vet experience “shell shocked”. GG will come around, he just suffered “ trauma”
