Wet cats

Every time I open the door, there's about three cats who want in. Because I have a jealous cat, I guess his name is back to GG, nothing seems to stick with this guy, I make them stay in the hall.
So anyway, I used to have a little cat bowl in the hall and fill it up for anyone to come and eat. Our neighbor put down a towel so the cats could snuggle up and sleep. But then the other neighbors bitched about cats milling around everywhere and tripping them on the stairs. To please the neighbors we brought the bowl and towel inside.
Which doesn't mean I still don't feed the cats in the hall. I just put the food on the floor for them and they gobble it up and no one is the wiser. As least, so far I haven't gotten caught.
Nonetheless, every time I open the door somebody wants in. Like I said, I'm making them eat in the hall.
Right now it's raining and I was greeted by a starving Sausage and hungry Fluffy. Both were sopping wet. Then little Licorice comes up and wants feeding too. These guys can't get enough food. And I can't go anywhere without being pestered by them.
The other day I was petting Patch and I gave her some food and started to walk away and she followed me and put both paws around my leg. It was precious but if I had been wearing shorts or something that would have hurt.
