Crazy Cats OMG
28Mar19
I can't go anywhere without a swarm of cats following me expecting food. Not begging -- expecting -- and I better deliver.
Last night around 3am, David let out GG, and he yells at me to get up and help him. I pull the covers over my head, how hard can it be to let out a cat? Then I hear this commotion and get up. Fluffy had marched in the door with Licorice at her heels. Rather than showing dominance and creating a loud cat scene, our GG slowly and cautiously went around her.
The next problem was getting GG and the Sausage gang-banger out of the house. Fairly easy to lure them in the hall with some food.
This morning, I went out to feed everybody. Fluffy greeted me on the stairs, I put down food for her. She sniffed, ignored and followed me. Outside I counted six and started putting down handfuls of food for everyone. The brats, Mask and Patch expect to be fed around the corner and pretty much won't eat anywhere else.
Everyone had food except for the brats and I followed them to their spot. Everyone else ignored their food and followed. I gave the brats a handful and in exasperation poured the rest of the food in a long line on the sidewalk. It worked, they got busy eating and left me alone long enough to run back upstairs.
