New Feeding Schedule

28Jan29

Ever since coming back from Greece, I've still been feeding the cats. Obviously, I am not the only feeder because they certainly didn't starve while we were gone. Now, I feed when I leave. If I leave in the morning, I feed; but if don't leave until afternoon, they have to wait. Doing this, I forget to blog -- because I left and as my entire life has become a senior moment by the time I get back, I've totally forgotten what happened with the kitties.

One day we came home, and there was a woman with a cage feeding the cats. Sausage and Bandit her biggest kitten were gone. Bandit returned a couple of days later sans balls, Sausage returned with the look of being hospitalized for awhile. She followed me upstairs and ate like a little piggy.

Now the other three kittens are gone. I haven't seen Cinnamon for awhile  either. Bandit is lonely. He comes up and meows at the door and I feed him. He paces back and forth inside the apartment back in the hall. He can't decide what he wants, to eat or attention.

So, we went for an errand this morning. It had been raining and the only cat about was Bandit. Then Sausage appeared. I left some food for them under the tree to help keep it dry. On the way back, here comes Mask and Patch. I went upstairs having saved some leftover chicken for them and went back down. Everyone was clamoring to be fed first. I had enough for everyone until here come Loper and her Jelly Beans, and Cinnamon and Dum-Dum. I gave them what was left of the regular cat food and the chicken -- hurried upstairs while everyone was eating.
