Pests

As I write this Pestilence aka Sausage is in the house. She wants another sardine except she already had two. She has told me emphatically she doesn't want to leave, but her prowling around and meowing is going to wake a sleeping Charley. He doesn't like his sleep disturbed.

When David came home from his walk, Fluffy came up with him. I gave her a sardine and she sniffed at it and walked away, then I let her outside. I opened the door and we were greeted by five hungry cats. The gang mother, Pestilence aka Sausage marched right inside and ate Fluffy's sardine. The kittens are still a little too afraid to come in -- thank goodness. If they came in, I'm not sure how I'd ever get them out.

I gathered up some food and went back out. Bandit loves playing the get right in front of my feet game. The game is get in front of my feet and prevent my next step. I don't think he's purposely trying to trip me, and I purposely trying NOT to step on him, which I did and he let out a little yelp.

I fed the kittens. Bag has been hanging around. Fed him too. Fluffy was in the way poking her head in everybody else's food and scaring them off. She even hissed at Bag. I think she and Bag are no longer lovers and maybe she's bitter and that's why she's so mean to everybody. I go around the corner and Fluffy follows. I give her some food and she sits on it and insists I pet her head. I do for a minute then go in search of Mask and Patch. Mask came running but no Patch. I don't know where that one is going in the mornings, I do see her in the afternoons and will bring her down a sardine.
