Digest Walk
15Dec18
This morning was a normal feeding. Both gangs of kittens were clamouring and Fluffy was being a bully. I went around the corner, no brats and went along the sidewalk calling for them. Out comes Mask followed by Patch, I fed them the rest but Black Scrap, the gangland father, comes along and looks a combination of sad and mean. So I took a little food from the brats to give him some too. Went back upstairs and called it done. I didn't see Sausage this morning at all, but she came over yesterday had a sardine and took a little nap.
What has become difficult is returning from my digest walk. After lunch, I have been taking what I call a digest walk. I don't drink water 10+ minutes before lunch or during lunch. Then I take a short walk maybe 20-30 minutes and come back and drink water. This has been amazing for my digestion. I was always getting upset tummy aches and sour stomach, ick-ick, and it has gone away.
But when I come back I am sometimes accosted by the cats. Today was worse than usual. Patch saw me and wanted petting. She also wanted a sardine. She used to come upstairs for her treat but is too afraid to cross the gang line. They were out in force today and wanted more food. I went upstairs and got some dry food for the gangsters and sardines for Patch.
Back down, I fed the kittens and Patch was like I want some too. I tried to explain I had a special treat for her and convinced her to follow to her feeding spot around the corner. I gave her a sardine and went to throw away the tin in the outside garbage and there's Fluffy. She wanted to be petted and was acting like she would come up with me. I knew she wasn't hungry because when I first started my walk I saw someone had given her a huge plate of roast meat in gravy -- all to herself. Then she has the nerve to pretend like she hasn't eaten in a month.
Fine, let her come upstairs. We get to the steps and I had put food down for the kittens in two different spots. There's Charlie eating at one spot -- he has better quality food all he can eat upstairs -- but no, he's eating the kittens' food. Fluffy chases the other kittens away and started gobbling food at the other spot. I give up.

Of course cats like kitten food, it is higher in fat! Lol I am not a big liquid drinker. It takes me 3 hours to drink 12 oz! That is why I never order nothing but water in a restaurant, because I barely drink it. Maybe ask David, when I was growing up , liquids were never served with meals. If you wanted water, you got it yourself! Lol
