Sausage Good. GG Bad

12Nov18

Last night after GG had dinner and went out, we heard a crying at the door. Sausage has managed to mimic GG cries and at first David thought it was GG. He opened the door and shut it again. It was Sausage. He asked if he should let her inside and I said okay. Sausage came in, ate, wandered about, took a cat nap. She was so quiet we didn't even know she was there. Eventually she was ready to go out. She was very good.

After she was gone, GG came back in. He settled down and then went to sleep. At 10ish, we go to bed and I'm almost asleep, when I hear a couple of loud meows. I got up and GG needed a drink out of the faucet. Waiting for him to finish drinking gets old. When started choking on the water, I turned off the faucet and explained to him that is why he is supposed to drink out of a bowl. Turned off the lights and went back to bed.

A few minutes later he was howling again. He wanted more water. Now I was wired and stayed up and listened to scary stories on YouTube. For some reason, those stories put me to sleep. Went back to bed but still had trouble getting into that deep, satisfying sleep. When I was finally there, I heard this loud meow, meow, meow. Now he wanted outside. I let him out and struggled to go back to sleep.

In the morning, I let him back inside. I heard some meowing at the door. Sausage. I took a bunch of food to feed her and everybody else. I bent down to pet her and she attacked the food. She was snarfing up those kitty bits like a starving pig. The last time she ate like that she was pregnant. Her kittens came up and wanted some food too. She hissed and swiped at them.

I went down and fed the kittens who have this sense of entitlement when it comes to food. Around the corner I fed Patch and Mask. Couldn't find Fluffy. Went for my walk, came back and all the food was gone. I petted Patch for a little, no one else will let me touch them.
