Ornery kitties

I can't remember if I blogged about the open door. One night it was really hot and I was awake and GG was making moves to go outside but wasn't quite ready. I wasn't in the mood to do that up and down thing until he made up his mind, so I just opened the door and left it open. It's kind of nice because it lets a breeze through. Well, I'm doing my thing and a short time later I hear something out in the hall. I figured it was a cat getting a midnight snack because I leave food out for them.

A few minutes later Fluffy strolls in and makes herself at home. She can relax easier when certain conditions are met. GG is gone, the humans are sleeping or relaxing, and the door is open. She curls up in GG's favorite spot and licks herself falls asleep. I'm watching a TV show on the computer and about an hour later back comes GG.

There's an afghan hanging over the lounge chair and he goes and hides behind the afghan and sets watch on Fluffy. Well, Fluffy woke up and jumps down from her perch, but instead of going outside, plops down on the other side of the afghan. I know GG is going to attack any second so I encourage Fluffy to get up and go outside. She doesn't move.  I push her a little bit along the floor and she still doesn't move. I push her a little more, and she refuses to get up. I pick her up and she remains in that same position in my arms as I carry her outside and show her there's still food if she wants some. Close the door and avoid flying fur.

This morning, GG was being his ornery self. When David left for his walk he let GG inside. I was still in bed. GG let out this loud meow. I dutifully get out of bed to see what he wants. Not water, not out. No, even though there is plenty of food in his bowl, there is a little clear spot, so I have to shake the bowl so the food is evenly distributed.

He likes this wool afghan because it is nice and soft. When I sit on the reclining chair with the afghan over my legs he will hop up and knead it and purr and purr. David has noticed when he does this his little weenie pops out and I've told David to quit looking. David says I'm not looking on purpose he's laying there totally exposed. GG doesn't know, he's a cat.

When I pop the reclining chair out, I'll leave it because it is really hard to put back in. Well, with GG laying on the reclining chair, I wouldn't be able to sit in it, so I pushed it closed. This movement didn't bother GG at all. But because I closed it, he didn't want to sit there anymore. He made moves like he wanted to sit by me but in reality wanted me to put a towel down so he could relax in his favorite spot on the coffee table. Fine.

When David got back from his walk, I went down to feed the others. Yesterday I was able to convince Sausage to come up and eat the food out in the hall. She came in the apartment with me and looked around and tried to figured everything out.

This morning she was waiting for me downstairs, I guess still not figuring out there is food on the top floor. I feed her, and Patch comes and I feed Patch. I see Mask peeking around the corner and go and feed Mask. Here comes Sausage. They did some hissing and swiping at each other.

I think I can convince Sausage to come back upstairs with me, and see why she left her food. Cinnamon stole it. I give Sausage some more and notice Loper is standing and wants some too. I feed Loper and stay around a watch making sure everybody gets enough.

Cinnamon is a pretty cat. Afterward he rubbed against my leg, but when I pet his head he started growling.
