Fluffy and Sausage

I am almost absolutely positive, Fluffy told Sausage about coming to my apartment and getting a sardine. They both came up yesterday afternoon looking for food. Fluffy ate and left, but Sausage hung around. She was looking for a sardine. I opened up a can and gave her one, then went downstairs and gave one to Patch. Fluffy was no longer about. I went looking for Mask. No Mask, but Cinnamon and Grey Scrap wanted some.
Later that evening Fluffy came back. GG was laying happily on a pillow by the wall. Fluffy ate and made herself at home on the end of the sofa where David sits. He was working at his desk at the time. Seconds later GG is hovering over Fluffy who is cowering and manages to eke out a hiss. We separate the two. GG is mad and wants to go out, but since this is his domain I don't want him to leave all riled up. Instead, I encouraged Fluffy to leave and allowed GG to calm down before he left about 30 minutes later.
This morning Fluffy and Sausage came up with David after his walk. The mewed around, and Fluffy sat by the sardine shelf making it rather obvious what she wanted. I gave Fluffy and Sausage a sardine and one for David. Before David could get to his Sausage hopped up on the counter and ate it.
I think it is interesting how Fluffy and Sausage are hanging out. Like Fluffy has taken the new mother under he wing. Like she understands how hard it is raising kittens, and realizes poor little Sausage needs to eat more.
