Fluffy is a House Cat Now...Hmmm

19July18

This morning there still was no Sausage. Bag and the brats were around, but no Fluffy. We went to the butcher and picked up some chicken and some livers for the cats. Patch greeted me as I came home, and I gave her a liver.

In the afternoon, I had to go to the fish market and pick up Friday's dinner. When I came back Fluffy greeted me and came upstairs. To my surprise she stayed for nearly an hour. She even cuddled by me on the couch.

Little Patch wanted to come up but gets as far as the apartment where the woman who hates cats lives. She's been gone for a long time recuperating from knee surgery but now she's back and Patch is leery. Patch used to come up before.

Later when I took out the trash, Fluffy came back up along with GG. Somehow they managed to hang out together without fur flying -- at least for awhile. GG was laying on the coffee table, and Fluffy was laying on the end of the sofa. But Fluffy decided to move and GG started watching her. He went over where she had been laying sniffed and sniffed and settled in her old spot. He couldn't relax, though, and starred at her in her new spot.

Fluffy grew restless and I decided to put her out. When I opened the door, Bag had come to the top landing presumably looking for her. She went up and nudged him. So sweet.

Now that GG had reclaimed Fluffy's territory on the sofa, he ambled over and made himself comfortable in her recently vacated new spot. He's making sure his scent supersedes hers. His is able to relax now that she's gone.
