Overslept

Tuesday night I barely slept at all. GG kept me awake. He wanted in, he wanted to sleep on my pillow, he pushed me out of bed, I went into the other room and got on the computer, he came and slept for awhile, I went back to bed. I few minutes later he wanted back in, he snuggled on my pillow and just as I was starting to relax, he wanted to go outside. Sometimes I just get all wired up.

The good thing is that the night after a sleepless night comes a night full of sleep. I fell asleep around nine and didn't wake up until 7 and then lolled around it bed until nearly 8. That's not completely true, I got up in the middle of the night with the thought, I should let GG in. I opened the door and he meows and comes right inside, like he was right there waiting for me.

I went back to bed had a bad dream about GG. We had gone on vaca and didn't leave any food out for him. We were on the plane and it was taxi-ing down the road in front of our house and I remembered and this nice lady on the plane was trying to get me to eat spaghetti. I was terribly worried about GG.

So anyway, it was later than usual when I fed the downstairs cats. David was already back from his walk and Fluffy was inside eating. She's a bigger eater than GG and still hasn't gained her weight back from her traumatic incident where we don't know what happened but she nearly died. I gave her a sardine and she gobbled that up pretty fast along with a bowl GG's food. I wanted her to stay inside while I fed the others, but no, she had to come down with me.

Bag is a very smart cat. He knows about Fluffy and loves her anyway. He knows the metal bowl down there is his bowl and nobody else's. I mean, that's not the only thing that makes him smart, he's a good cat. Fluffy wants to stick her nose everywhere. Loper hasn't been around for the past few days.

Patch and Mask are at it again. They run ahead of me around the corner and Mask always attacks her brother. Our neighbor feeds them too, she calls them Tom and Jerry because they're both a couple of brats.

From nowhere the new guy, Sausage appears and demands to be fed first. Mask went after him and took his food, I guess she's tired of waiting. I fed Patch, and put some food on the ground for Sausage, the food was right in front of him and he couldn't find it. So I put some more on the sidewalk and Patch gave up on his food and wanted that. I had to kind of direct Sausage someplace else so he could eat. I don't know why it is so hard for them to figure out where their food is.

Anyway, Fluffy was with me the entire time trying to stick her nose in everybody else's food. It's like if she sniffs it first, it becomes hers even if she then rejects it. She followed me back upstairs and managed to relax on the chair for about five minutes then wanted to go. I let her out but she has this habit of stopping halfway in the hall, halfway out of the apartment. She looked at me expecting more food in the bowl in the hall. I played dumb, and she stared up at my glasses thinking something like humans have really weird eyes and finally left.

  1. I can’t tolerate restless night either. To much movement in the middle if the night makes me very wakeful! Joey doesn’t like to sleep with me during the summer., He hates the fan, and I used it during the warm months.
