Too Hot to Handle

Yesterday it was up to 100 degrees. OMG. The wind was blowing too, and there was hardly any humidity. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
GG has been acting strange. I'm thinking the weather. But in spite of the heat he comes in gets fed, watered and petted then goes right back out into the hot weather.
Patch allows me to pet him to a certain extent. He kind of likes it but is still uncertain. I am only allowed to use one hand. When I was bending down and petting him, I reached out my other hand and he jumped away. I stood. As an extra measure he swatted my leg but without his claws. Nevertheless, I scolded him for that.
This morning Patch followed Fluffy upstairs in search of breakfast. GG was inside and he hadn't settled down, so I thought it would be better if Fluff ate in the hall. I got her started on food, but when she saw me going downstairs she came with me. Well, Patch was hiding behind the corner and out comes his paw and swipe, swipe, swipe at Fluffy who swiped back.
Fluffy rounds the corner all set to attack Patch, but Bag is there too. He's the love of her life, and when she sees him, she rubs her body against his.

OMG 100 degree! No wonder GG is acting strange, too hot and he has a fur coat! Joey will not sleep with me when it is above 75 degree! My cats like cool weather. We have a refrig in the basement, Chica love to go in there!
