They're at it again

Over the past few weeks, the cats have been pretty much non-present. The only ones showing up for breakfast were Patch and Mask. Poor Patch has fur missing from both his ears, which tells me he was in some kind of scrape when he was gone for three days.

This morning it was raining, and I know that the cats won't come out for food in the rain. When David came back from his morning walk, it was still raining and a wet Fluffy followed him upstairs. David tells me that Fluffy will only follow him upstairs she won't let him pet her. Well, she ate a sardine and went mew, mew, mew, constantly for the entire time she was in the house. It was too cold to keep the door open, but when we opened the door to let her leave, she wouldn't go. She can't relax.

Eventually she went out on her own. Today was a good day for Shwarma, so I went to get some for lunch. The rain had stopped so I figured there would be some hungry guys out there. I took a bowl of food. Fluffy, who had already eaten was there along with Mask and Patch. Yesterday when I tried to feed the three, Fluffy attacked Mask for no reason and she screamed like a human and ran away.

Today I put food down for Mask, and she started eating, I put food down for Fluffy and directed her to eat that. The rest I gave to Patch, except Fluffy wanted to eat Patch's food. I kept directing her back to her own food, but she insisted on eating Patch's food. Well, Patch could very well go eat Fluffy's food, but he's too scared. So I took more food out of the bowl and went down the sidewalk so Patch could have some.

When I came back with lunch, all the food I put out had been eaten. There was a scroungy orange cat not to be confused with all the other orange cats I've written about.  Bag was around and along with Fluffy and the brats. Everyone wanted more food. I went upstairs and came back down and heard this terrible cat yeoling. GG and Bag wanted to see what was going on. The lady on the second floor who hates cats threw water out the window. I found the new orange cat pinned down by Fluffy. I told her to stop it, and the orange cat took the opportunity to dash away. Fluffy followed and disappeared in the bushes.

I fed everyone yet again.
