The past few mornings have been easy. Only Fluff and Patch were around. This morning I was greeted by Fluffy and saw GG's look alike staring at me at the foot of the stairs. Oh yeah, Bag. Fluffy went over and gave Bag a nudge.
I fed Bag and Fluffy had her nose it in. Bag backed off, except I turned Fluffy in a different direction and asked her to let her man eat. She followed me around the corner and out come the brats. I fed them first and kept turning Fluff away from their food, then fed Fluffy. I pet her a bit and allowed her to rub against my legs until she became interested in the food and snuck away.
Back behind the apartment I saw the feral orange cat staring at me (not to be confused with the orange inside cat that lives with the Russians). I decided to feed him too. Loper's bowl was still by the tree, so I put food there, and from nowhere Loper appears. So I went and put some food on a flat rock so feral orange could eat and Bag suddenly becomes interested in what is going on. To top it off, Mostly wanted to eat too. So I give her a little food, which she rejected and went back trying to get her owners to open their apartment door. She just stands there and waits, doesn't meow or anything.
So there's a kitty stand-off. Enough food for everyone but they're all too territorial and defensive to eat. I gave up and went upstairs.
