The cats have been pretty good these past few days, including this morning. I have been encouraging Fluffy to eat downstairs and not come up with me due to GG's jealousy problem.
Bag and Fluffy are the loving couple. You wouldn't realize that lately, just that they hang. Once every so often you might see Bag give Fluffy a quick head caress or vice versa. What I haven't seen lately, is them cuddling together. In fact, it seems like the two go their separate ways except for morning feedings and even that isn't a certainty.
This morning Fluffy had to eat first, and Bag let her. He's waiting around for food and Loper comes up. They're facing each other in a I dare you to come any closer stance. Loper is highly defiant and Bag isn't backing down. Except I couldn't tell if this was territorial behavior or a prelude to rough sex. It might have been a prelude to rough sex because Fluffy left her food long enough to swipe Bag. It was like she was saying, "Stay away from that fecund feline!"
He did, and after that everything was fine.
