Heart to Heart
21Dec17
First, I haven't seen Loper and her kitten for nearly a week. I don't know if they are permanently gone or are taking a little vaca. They're missing out.
Second, Calico has taken to watching out for me, not because she likes me but because I give her a little treat every time I go by. She will run up to me, let me pick her up and pet her, then demand her treat and follow me until she gets it.
Today is Thursday and Thursday we do our grocery shopping for the weekend which includes going to the butcher and going to the fruit/veggie store. We also have to go to the grocery store, and another store that has take-out food. Well, anyway, I've started buying a few chicken livers for the cats as a little pre-Shabbat treat. Today I bought chicken hearts. These cats went crazy. I gave one to Calico and tried to feed the other guys and Calico broke all territorial boundaries to chase after me and demand more.
There are about five or six bus stop kitties who panhandle for food at the bus stop. Calico is the only one I feed. So far. I gave Calico another heart and up comes another kitty who wants some too. The last thing I need is for my range of feeding to extend beyond the apartments. Someone could go broke trying to feed all the feral cats in Haifa.
Now that it is somewhat cooler, the days are in the 70s, but the nights are colder; Fluffy and Bag are cuddling more. So cute. I'll try to get a picture, but when they here me coming they come up to greet me expecting -- what else -- food.

My cats don't eat raw meat,! Joey doesn't like " human" food. Sherman and Chica will take morsel of cooked chicken.
