Feeding 2 or 3 cats is a lot easier than feeding 7

Over the past few days, the only cats downstairs waiting for feedings were Fluffy and Patch. Maybe Mask would come running. Talk about easy.

The problem is all the cats want to be fed at once. Whatever is in somebody else's bowl, they have to look and see if its better than what they have. It's all the same thing.

I may have figured out why these cats are so leery of my hands. See, they haven't figured out that there's food in the bag and I'm simply taking it out. No to them, it's a magic bag. My hand goes in empty and comes out full of food, now how in the world could that happen unless it was --MAGIC. If magic hands can produce food out of a bag, what other thing could those hands possibly do?

This morning there was a full contingent of cats. Loper and her kitten, Growler, Fluffy, the two brats, no Bag but another cat wanting his fair share.

Fluffy had to be fed first, but I couldn't find the Loper's bowl so had to go retrieve another one. By the time I got back, Fluffy had abandoned her food and Mask was eating it. Gave her some more in another dish. Went around the corner to feed the brats and the new cat who was very demanding. There were three bowls. Okay, Patch and the new guy, the other bowl can go for Loper. Fed the two, turned around to see Loper's kitten had followed me.

I explained he needed to eat under the tree with his mom. Patch was following me, because he seemed nervous about the new guy. I put his food further away, he still wouldn't eat it. Then I had the brilliant idea of putting is food in a different bowl. At it just fine.

Around the corner Loper is eating out of Fluffy's dish, and Mask is wanting more food. Took care of Mask, then filled a bowl for Loper and her kitten. They followed me and started eating under the tree. Saw Growler. She didn't have a dish. I wasn't certain what to do, but looked again to see Growler eating Loper's food. Loper went back to Fluffy's bowl. Fluffy is still eating in a different bowl and Loper isn't sharing with her kitten. Out bowls, I put a little food on the sidewalk so the kitten could eat all by himself.

What a bunch of brats.
