GG doesn't want to share
Tues 17Oct17
There was nothing unusual about this morning except Loper's kitten was waiting down by the entrance with the other cats while his mother was lingering under the tree. No Mask. No Black Tail who is now called Growler because she growls at me to feed her and hisses when I do so. Oh, and Patch swiped at me when I put down his food and drew blood. Bad Patch.
We had to run all kinds of errands today. Go to the post office for my driver's license. Yes, you read correctly, not the DMV the PO. Then we went to the bank and the grocery store. After lunch we had to make a return at a different grocery store. Then I had to go pick up some prepared rice and beans as sides for our dinner.
All this back and forth makes the cats hungry. GG didn't feel like staying up with us, instead went down to guard the entrance. Nevertheless, Fluffy hurried past GG and came up with me. She are a bite upstairs but can't relax, and followed me back downstairs as I fed Patch and Mask. Yes, that's two feedings for Patch and the first one for Mask. The other cats weren't around.
On another errand in the afternoon Fluffy came up again, I gave her some food she was too nervous to eat and she followed me back downstairs. I had food for everyone including Growler, Loper and her kitten. This would be Patch's third feeding. After all, Patch said he was starving.
Patch has braved the stairs to come up and see me, but won't go past GG when he's keeping guard. I'd prefer it if these cats would come up for feedings instead of me having to go down receive pleading looks from cats that say, "Feed me, feed me."
Anyway when I returned from my final errand both Patch and Mask were waiting for me. They claimed to be still hungry but I noticed they hadn't eaten to food I gave them. Fluffy followed me up the stairs again. Somebody's phone was ringing and the noise scared her so she ran back down.
