Trudging up and down Stairs in 100 degree heat

29June17 Afternoon
Went to do some errands, and on the next level down my husband looked out the window and asked if that cat was Bag. I couldn’t see him at first and then said, “No, that’s loudmouth.” In response we heard this huge meow. I went back upstairs to grab him a bite to eat. He is one of the few feral cats that will let me pet him. If I could brush him, I could get his fur shiny and soft, but a pet on the head is about all I can hope for.
Rounded the corner and saw another cat lolling in the shade. At first we thought it was Black Tail because of the black tail, but I looked at her little face and saw the eye patch. “Patch, I haven’t seen you in ages.” Patch got up and insisted on food, I was going to tell him no, but he started coming with us and begging, so I trudge back upstairs in this god-awful heat just to get some cat food. For all that trouble, when we got back, there was still plenty of food left. Oh well, someone will eat that’s for certain.
