Sooo Hungry
24Sept17
Feeding Loudmouth along with the brats first is working out much better. Yesterday, Fluffy had to sniff everything, so I picked her up and she was fine until she saw Bag staring at her and she wanted down. I fed Loper and noticed for the second day in a row her kitten was missing.
The last time I saw the kitten was when it had wandered away from mom and was eating out of Bag's bowl. Two crows were hanging around and I had concerned they wanted to eat the kitten, but ate cat food on the ground instead. When I lived in California, I had watched several crows tormenting this beautiful grey squirrel. That poor little squirrel was scared to death of those crows. I went back into the house and several minutes later when I went back outside saw the squirrel dead by a tree. Maybe that's why they call them a murder of crows than say a flock like a flock of geese.
Today there was still no kitten, and I really have to wonder if those crows didn't go after it.
This morning Loudmouth was so hungry he had come all the way up to the landing between the third and fourth floor. I looked out the door and there he was, I told him to come on up but he told me to feed him outside. At the foot of the stairs there was Fluffy and the brats, but no Bag. My thinking is Bag knows how to hunt so isn't quite as neurotic as the other cats about being fed by humans like myself. But who knows. I thought all cats could hunt.
Fluffy was starving. Usually she can't eat with others around. I fed Mouth, then filled up on of the brats' bowls and Fluffy immediately ate. Filled up another bowl for Patch and poor Mask didn't have a bowl, so I put some food on the sidewalk. Mask didn't care, she seemed to prefer no bowl.
Loper greeted me and I took her over by the tree asked her where her baby was, but she didn't tell me.
