Fluffy is acting weird
15Sept17 Fri
For the past three days Fluffy has been acting weird. She is more interested in following me around and being petted. After I feed Loudmouth, I feed her, and she sniffs at her food like she's going to eat it, but insists I pet her on the head. Then I feed Loper and the kitten, and Fluffy goes over and tries to eat their food while insisting I pet her head. Then I feed Bag and she goes over and sniffs his food and insists I pet her head. Then I show Fluffy her food and she pretends to eat it and I go around the corner to feed the brats only to find Fluffy at my heels wanted to be petted again. I feed Patch and Mask and she sniffs at their food and intimidates them away, but doesn't eat and wants to be petted. I give her a little something just in case so everybody has plenty of food and go back to my building, only to have Fluffy follow me and want to be petted. So I put down the back of cat food and now with both hands free she won't let me touch her. I coax her over to a chair where I can comfortably sit and pet her, but the only way I am allowed to touch her is bending over from a standing position with my right hand. If the left hand comes into play, she's outta there.
In order to make chicken broth, I buy a whole chicken and let it simmer in the crock pot for days along with some veggies for flavoring. If I plan correctly, we can have a chicken dinner while the rest of the bones, meat, and skin continue to simmer. This week, I didn't plan correctly, so instead of letting good chicken breast go to waste, I decided to give some to the cats.
When in go downstairs in the late afternoon, no one is waiting for me. I go around the corner and see Mask sleeping and say her name. She wants some. Feed Mask. A few second later Patch comes running. Feed Patch. When I go back to the apartment, I see Loper under the tree. That poor skinny cat looks like she never eats and she has a baby to feed. I gave her some chicken. Loudmouth comes up and I give him some chicken. Fluffy wants some too. I take her over by the chair and throw her bits on the ground, and in less than a second the chicken is gone.
I finish off the chicken I brought down and realize Loudmouth went over and ate Loper's food. Go back upstairs and get Loper more chicken and Loudmouth and Fluffy. But this time Fluffy is more interested in being petted than eating. Bag was nowhere to be seen.
