Big Brothers are So Cool

Every morning when Patch and Mask come begging for food. They lead me to the food with their tails in the air. Every morning without fail Mask picks on Patch. Patch is the big brother and he is now considerably larger than Mask. Patch just puts up with it. Doesn’t swipe back, isn’t drawn into the play or fray whichever.  He’s a cool big brother.  But, man oh man, I reach down and try to gently pet Patch and what do I get? Hissed at and swiped.
