Yesterday Fluffy was nowhere to be seen. When my husband came back from his walk this morning, he told me still no Fluffy. We were thinking she went off with Bag into unknown territories. The idea of Fluffy gone made me realize she's one of my favorites. Nevertheless, when I went down to feed the cats, there was Fluffy along with the other regulars.

Well, Loudmouth met me one the first floor. Instead of calling Loudmouth Loudmouth, I called him Gentle Giant. He seems to like that name better than Loudmouth even though Loudmouth is highly appropriate. Maybe he likes the "j" sound better than the "l" sound. I think I'm going to call him GG for short. It's definitely easier to type.

Anyway I fed GG and then tried to feed the brats except starving Fluffy ate Mask's food. Patch swiped at me when I put food in his bowl. And poor Mask had to eat off the sidewalk instead from a bowl, but in some ways she seems to prefer that.

Loper's kitten, who had been awol for maybe three days reappeared by her side. I'm so glad she wasn't eaten by crows. Leave it to me to think of the worst possible event and convert it to reality in my mind. I do that a lot -- it's really not healthy.

Black Tail was sitting by Loper and her kitten's food bowls. Black Tail hissed at me as I went toward her then turned and ran. I fed them and they ate regardless of an angry cat staring at them. I put some more food in another bowl for Black Tail and Loper came over for that one.
